chicken nugget parmesan

I tend to make this dish a day or two after we’ve had chicken nuggets. I promise to give you the recipe for those, but until then, you can substitute any frozen brand or your own recipe.

Serve it with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and a chunk of garlic bread.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups cooked spiral pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 20-24 chicken nugget pieces
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
  1. Spray an 8-inch square glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Spread the pasta in the bottom if the dish and pour the sauce evenly on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  2. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer on top of the pasta. Top with mozzarella.
  3. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes. If using frozen chicken pieces, add an additional 5 minutes it so. Remove the foil and bake 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  4. Cool for 5 minutes before digging in.
